Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-23T03:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-01-23T03:00:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: N30E01
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
OS: Other and Shock Candidate
Note: Narrowish CME with messy front seen to the N in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1, following in the footsteps of CME: 2026-01-22T21:12Z. The CME is seen more clearly to NE in STEREO A COR2 after the nightly data gap ending at 2026-01-23T03:08Z. The front in STEREO is clear and bright in difference imagery, but there is also a fainter accompanying wider front as well in STEREO, possibly a very faint shock. The source could be a minor filament eruption seen after 2026-01-23T02Z centered around (N30E01), as seen in GOES SUVI 304.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
